Hi! My name is Ray Broeren and I am the president of Theta Lamb Chapter of Kappa Delta. kappa Delta is a place in which I found true friendship, unconditional support, and the comfort of knowing I am valued and appreciated. I have found a community of amazing women, upon which I can always rely on.
Entering Marquette my freshman year, I had no idea the growth and independence I would discover in just the first year. I have become a better version of myself through the love and care I found in KD and I have been able to support other women in their unique pursuits in life. I am so incredibly proud of the women I share this sisterhood with. They inspire me to push myself to be better every day and are there for me when I fail to do so. I know every woman who enters Kappa Delta will do great things, both within Marquette and onward in life. I hope that every woman who enters Marquette finds a community as strong and confident as I have found, so that they may succeed in all they do and find comfort in all stages of life.

The sleepover we do with the Girl Scouts is some of the most amazing memories I have from Kappa Delta. We do activities to instill confidence in young girls. Everyone is so hands on and involved with the Girl Scouts and helping young women see the value in themselves is something that is so special to every member in Kappa Delta.
I personally love a week long event that we do called Shamrock Week! Shamrock Week is all about fundraising for the PCAA (Prevent Child Abuse America) and utilizing our sisterhood to raise awareness for this cause. We do things such as 5K walk/run , cake with KD, writing confidence notes, selling pinwheels, and wearing blue. There are just a few of the events we have done as a chapter to fundraise for PCAA. I think it such a pivitol time for our sisters to come together and have a good time while working towards helping a cause we are all passionate for!
