SIGMA KAPPA
Wisconsin Kappa Nu
Chapter

Hi! My name is Murphy Lealos and I am the President of Sigma Kappa! I am originally from Minneapolis, MN, but came to Marquette because I loved the fun city. I went through recruitment because I have always been a social person who loves to spend time with friends and I am forever grateful for that decision.
I have met so many amazing women since joining Sigma Kappa, and the leadership opportunities have allowed me to develop so many valuable skills. Being a part of an organization like Sigma Kappa has truly been a life changing experience so if you're even considering going through recruitment, just do it!

Words from sisters
We do a special Lady Tea with alumni! It exemplifies true sisterhood and shares the log lasting connection we all share as Sigma kappa's. The alumni are always looking out for sisters and providing opportunities for networking, as well as looking for help with different things. The alumni are there to help each sister exemplify the value of personal growth and offer advice/job opportunities or things to do around MKE. The lasting bond Sig Caps have and the care they share with each other is something so special I have found in the sorority.

We participate in the Walk for Alzheimers! It is a super fun experience to go through with your sisters and made me feel more connected to the Milwaukee community. I have personal connections to Alzheimers related diseases with my grandparents, and seeing how supportive all of my sisters were the day of the walk not only me, but everyone affected was so powerful. It really made me feel welcomed and comfortable, as well as brought life long friendships that I am forever grateful for.
